Dr. Taylor Greif is from Princeton, Indiana and graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a degree in Biological Sciences. After her undergraduate program she attended Indiana University School of Optometry where she received her doctorate (O.D.). Following graduation Dr. Grief completed a residency at Bowersox Vision Center where she specialized in Pediatrics, Binocular Vision and Vision Rehabilitation. Dr. Greif is accepting new patients but in particular greatly enjoys vision therapy and working with patients with amblyopia, strabismus, convergence insufficiency, saccadic dysfunction, diplopia, and accommodative insufficiency. Her passion is in education and helping pediatric patients and adults alike reach their full visual potential!
She also has experience in neuro-optometric vision rehabilitation and works with patients that have visual symptoms following concussions, strokes, traumatic brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, vertigo, and other neurological induced visual symptoms.
Dr. Greif also practices primary care optometry. She fits contact lenses (single vision, astigmatism, and multifocal) as well as diagnoses and treats ocular disease such as dry eye, conjunctivitis, cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and other ocular conditions. She is a member of the Kentucky Optometric Association.
Dr. Greif lives in Louisville where she and her husband Miles enjoy the restaurant scene of the city. She is a massive sports and music enthusiast. Her favorite teams are Indiana University, University of Louisville, Miami Dolphins, Boston Celtics, and the St. Louis Cardinals. Her favorite artists are Taylor Swift, Twenty One Pilots, and Green Day. She is grateful and excited to work with everyone at Mooney EyeCare Centre and Bowersox Vision Center!
